Marianne Lindsell

In recent years, Marianne has been acting as technical authority for a number of Augmented Reality exploitation projects. In these she has found resonance with her past experience with systems and software architectures for aircraft cockpit graphics, controls and processing hubs, in which she has had the rare privilege to drive projects through from initial problem analysis to system roll-out.  Her varied background also includes the management of business change and P3M (Project, Programme and Portfolio Management).

She has consulted for EASAMS Ltd, GEC-Marconi, Logica, CGI and has most recently branched out to promote the practical application of AR to the task of driving, by acting as an advisor to Making Virtual Solid LLC, developer of a volumetric Head Up Display.

Marianne hopes to use the example of AR-assisted driving (effectively ADAS) as a worked example of the barriers that have still to be overcome to make task-assistance by AR efficient and simple to use.
